Favorite thing about Central High School: The kids and the fact that we have an auditorium.

Why you got into teaching: I've always known I would be a teacher. I used to set up my baby dolls around my bedroom and "play school" all the time. First I wanted to teach PreK then Math then Choir. I think I definitely chose the right focus!

High school activities/groups/clubs/sports: Softball, cheer, show choir, musicals, student council, Spanish Club, Math Team, Scholastic Bowl team, JETS, National Honor Society, Speech Team

Favorite subject in school: Math

Favorite teacher: Mrs. Monk and Ms. Risvold

Favorite snack: Apple wedges and caramel

Favorite book: Anne of Green Gables

Favorite activity away from school: Hanging with my family, preferably outdoors

Favorite sports team: Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Something unique: I think my son's name might be the only unique thing about me. I've lived a pretty "normal" life.
