A Little About Me...

by Faith Stackert

Hello,

I am the 8th Special Education teacher at Nash Middle School. I grew up in Valparaiso, IN. I went to college at Olivet Nazarene University and majored in elementary education and have a minor in Spanish. I went back for additional courses in Special Education at Governors State University after graduation. I also completed a Master's degree in Reading at ONU and am a certified Reading Specialist. Right out of college, I was the director for a Christian pre-school in Bourbonnais. I then proceeded to substitute teach in the public school system. Before coming to Nash, I taught in Kankakee and also Manteno.

In my free time, I am also the Vice President for a local animal shelter in Iroquois, IL called Iroquois County Animal Rescue. This year is my eleventh year teaching at Nash and I have enjoyed every part of the students, staff members and the overall school atmosphere. I look forward to many good years here at Nash Middle School. I am very proud of the hard work that all of the students and staff members put in at Nash Middle School
