The Dr. Betty A. Peters-Lambert and Dale A. Lambert Education Scholarship
Clifton Central High School
In 1976, Betty graduated from Clifton Central High School, receiving a $150 John L. Nash Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was of great help on her path to a career in education, beginning at Kankakee Community College and Illinois State University. Today, Betty has a Doctorate in Education from the University of Illinois. The John L. Nash Memorial Scholarship was a great gift during Betty’s first year of college, and Betty and Dale are proud to provide a deserving student with a $500 scholarship.
Candidates are to be graduating seniors with a 2.5 GPA or higher.
Candidates need to be involved in the Clifton Central school community.
Candidates must exhibit financial need.
Candidates must plan to enroll in an accredited college or university.
Candidates must plan to enroll in the field of education.
This award will be payable to the institution the student will be attending.
